Woodward’s 8200-1300 provides digital control for steam turbines. It is one of several digital governors available in the 505 turbine control series. The unit uses a standard LVDC (18-32 VDC) power supply.

The device can be used in non-hazardous places. It is also available for Class I Zone 2 A/B/C/D group locations. The unit is usually fitted with stranded copper field wiring with a temperature rating of at least 75 degrees Celsius.

The 8200-1300 can control steam turbines with single or double shunt range actuators. It can be configured as part of a factory DCS (Distributed control System) or used as a stand-alone unit.
